Markdown Format

Fusion POS supports rich-text formatting through support of the Markdown format.

In general, Markdown is a simple format that makes it easy to represent plain-text, while preserving paragraphs. It also has simple control characters that can help basic formatting.

Some primary advantages of Markdown are:

  • If all you want is plain-text, just use plain-text.
  • It is easier to import and export (for example, in CSV files).
  • It is less prone to security vulnerabilities than other formats.
