POS Sync Client Task

The Fusion.XMS.POS.Sync.Tasks.POSSyncClientTask task is run by POS Sync Clients – deployed on a Store or Corporate tenant – to retrieve data from a Cloud tenant.

Currently the data exchange is limited to orders that are created within Fusion POS directly – i.e as a result of a checkout from the Cart or OrderPad apps. These orders includes shipped orders and quotes. Quotes in particular may require a more frequent schedule, if the quotes are to expected to be available immediately in a store’s registers.

Future versions of Fusion POS may replace this background task with a more generic cloud sync mechanism. This work is under development.
