KIT Explode and Price Distribution
The KIT explode function in Acumatica effectively handles fractional values that may arise when exploding a parent product.
For example, if there is an adjustment of $1000 and the quantity of the parent item is 3, it ensures that each quantity is not associated with an uneven fractional value i.e., $333.333. Instead, it distributes the price of the parent kit item among the child component items based on their respective quantities, ensuring a fair allocation.
While creating a Sales Order, If the ‘Not to Explode on API Sync’ checkbox is enabled in both Kit Specifications and Item Class screens, then the non-stock kit item will remain unexploded in the sales order.
