UOM Based Pricing
Users can dynamically adjust the sales price based on the packaging unit for Stock Items and Non-Stock Items by utilizing the Unit of Measure (UOM) fields.
A default Unit of Measure (UOM) can be applied to an Item Class.
Enable this Feature

Go to the Inventory workspace.

Select Item Classes, under the Preferences menu.

Go to the Unit of Measure (UOM) section.

Select a default value for the Base Unit field.

Select a default value for the Sales Unit field.

Select a default value for the Purchase Unit field.

Click Save.
How to Apply

Go to the Inventory workspace.

Click Stock Items, under the Profiles menu.

Click the (+) to create a stock item.

Create a Stock Item.

Enter a UOM for the Sales Unit. The sales unit field is the measurement for the stock item (i.e., box, can, bottle, etc.).

The conversion table will appear.

Enter the number of units in the Conversion Factor field.

Click Save.

Go to the Price/Cost tab.

Verify that the sales price has auto-adjusted based on the number of units entered in the conversion factor field.

Create a Sales Order.

Add the Stock Item created and enter multiple quantities.

Go to the Payment Settings tab.

Verify the price of the stock item listed in the Unpaid Balance line is consistent with the UOM conversation settings for the stock item.
