Customer Order Summary

A snapshot of a customer’s value and recent order details can be found on the Order Summary tab.

The Order Summary screen includes shipment and tracking details, a lifetime order value summary, and last quote information.

Enable Customer Order Summary

  1. Navigate to the Receivables workspace.

  2. Click Customer Order Summary under the Preferences menu.

  3. Select the Order Types for Lifetime Value Calculation.

  4. Select the Order Status for Lifetime Value Calculation.

  5. Click Save.

 Refresh Data Calculations

  1. Navigate to the Receivables workspace.

  2. Click Customer Order Summary under the Processes menu.

  3. Select the Update the Customer Summary Data checkbox.

  4. Click Process.

Automate this Process

  1. Select the Update the Customer Summary Data checkbox.

  2. Click the schedule icon.

  3. Select Add.

    1. The Automation Schedules pop-up window will appear.

  4. Enter a Description for the scheduled process (i.e. Daily AM, Kensium Branch, Customer Data).

  5. Select a Starts On date.

  6. Select an Expires On date or select No Expiration Date if applicable.

  7. Select a Process with Branch, if you want to process specific branch(es) at scheduled times.

  8. Click Save.

How to Apply

  1. Navigate to the Receivables workspace.

  2. Click Customers, under the Profiles menu.

  3. Select a Customer.

  4. Click the Order Summary tab.

  5. View the latest order summary details, shipment details, and summary info.

  6. Users can drill-down on the following:

    1. Sales Order number: Used to view the sales order details.

    2. Track button:  Used to view the shipping status of the last order placed.

      1. You are redirected to the shipping provider’s website to view tracking status based on the Carrier’s screen configuration.

  7. Go to the Orders tab, to view a customer’s full order history.

    1. The Orders tab is accessible via the far-left menu, which is minimized.

 To View Order History

  1. Click the far-right Orders tab.

    1. The full length of the tab menu is sometimes hidden, based on the browser type used.

  2. Click the triple arrows to display the additional tabs.

  3. Select Orders.

Enable Customer Order Summary

  1. Navigate to the Receivables workspace.

  2. Click Customer Order Summary under the Preferences menu.

  3. Select the Order Types for Lifetime Value Calculation.

  4. Select the Order Status for Lifetime Value Calculation.

  5. Click Save.

 Refresh Data Calculations

  1. Navigate to the Receivables workspace.

  2. Click Customer Order Summary under the Processes menu.
