Scope

The primary goals of Braintree extension in Acumatica ERP are as follows:

1. Access to enhanced features

Users can take advantage of various features enabled by Braintree in Acumatica, including the ability to generate reports for sales orders, shipments, invoices, and pick lists. These reports can include information on both the parent item and child items within the kit.

2. Component Explosion

The Braintree extension allows for the automatic explosion of components based on the configuration specified in the Item Class and Kit Specifications screen. This feature ensures that the individual components of the kit are accurately identified and tracked.

3. Braintree Configuration in Sales Orders

Users can configure Braintree within the sales order module. This includes the ability to lookup configurations, add configured components to the sales order, and utilize new fields such as Kit Inventory ID and Kit Price.
Additionally, features like minimum and maximum quantity validation with the ability to edit quantities on the fly provide flexibility and control during the ordering process.
